2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Tolles Buch! : ) By Amazon-Kunde Neat little book! This is really good for beginner students of German. After some trouble with downloading through Amazon, I had to contact Carolin directly (as others have done). She is very sweet and helped me immensely until we resolved the problem. After that, the reading began. The story is laid out in an easy to read manner, and keeps your interest while teaching you a new vocabulary. I've read almost all of Andre Klein's series of Krimis and "Learn German with Stories series" and I would recommend those along with this book for any beginner student of German. Keep up the great work, Carolin! I'll be on the lookout for more of your work in the future. : )
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Fantastisch By Ana Wonderful book for someone looking to review German basics and build vocabulary/grammar skills. The illustrations complement the text and add a lot of charm to the stories. The word banks at the ends of the chapters are a nice addition as well.Carolin was also extremely accommodating and quick in helping me access the text. I'm looking forward to reading more titles by this author!

By Anne Kathrin Meyer This language book truly managed to combine the beauty of learning a new language with its duty to have you learn and understand its grammar.It gives you an insight into the German culture; you will meet some German people and hear their cute little stories. It in-cooperated grammar and language-based-information for level A1; playful and just right for every person who wants to give German a try!It's beautifully illustrated; you will get to know the main characters and their living situation; it will bring you closer to Germany's geography, it's restaurant and café culture and their daily lives. The author will also send you off with not only a new knowledge about the German language; you will even get a good handful of traditional German recipes!!!The title sums it up perfectly: "Aus Liebe zu Pralinen" will have you learn German in a playful way and before you know it you will find yourself re-cooking it's German recipes at home!
