4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. As much fun as you can have with the 6 By Robert W Karstenson I ordered this book because a friend told me to. He said I would understand as soon as I read it; why he used it. Pass the 6 from Robert Walker is great for anyone looking for help (as the title says) passing the 6 because Robert took a very dry subject matter and made it interesting and easily understood. This text book on the 6 gave real world examples and broke the lawyer-eis explanations into plain English. Being from Chicago myself I found him relate-able and likeable in the reading and I would also recommend his video segments along with the book. Robert broke the book into chapters that made sense in order of operation as to how and why you do things and the explanations as to the how and why. As an example Robert took chapter one and talked about job functions along with opening an account for a client and doing do diligence for just a few examples. If you look at the Series 6 outline from FINRA they are kind of all over the place and Robert gave it some order that made sense. I bought this book and his Pass the 63 and I did just that for both test the first time around. With his books; a realistic time frame and some studying nobody should have any problems passing these tests.

Passing the series 6 and 63 could not be done without his tutoring, practice tests and of course his book that makes sense of the information. I tried reading and practice tests with Kaplan and did not do well in the testing center. Two weeks of studying with Bob and blew both tests out of the water! Bob and his material come highly recommended for anyone trying to pass any securities exams the first time!!! Thanks again Bob looking forward on passing the 65 with you soon.

By Joyce Howard I HIGHLY recommend this company if you want to pass the 6 on the first try.Let me preface this by saying that I am a horrible test taker who has difficulty staying focused. With that being said, I was signed up with another company and read through the competitors book and realized I was not retaining any of the information. I was 2 weeks from my exam and I started to panic. I quickly remembered that I had the "Pass the 6" book somewhere in my office and figured that I've got nothing to lose by reading it.Not only did I comprehend what I was reading, but I was also retaining it!I purchased the practice exams on a Saturday and that Wednesday took the test and PASSED the first try!I am on to the 63!Thank you so much to the folks over at Pass the 6!!Sincerely, Joyce Howard
