There are a lot of information about modify diet, using herbs and lifestyle changes for better energy and health that I can get from this book. I can know how to make use of nutrition information, knowledge, and wise, naturally-informed eating tips that build up my health, rather than create more symptoms. I would like to recommend this book to my family, healthy gut is really important to everyone.

It will thank you for it! ~~ By Richard and Liz Do you think the nutrients from the food you eat start getting absorbed in your stomach? No! Once your food is made into chyme it heads through the pyloric sphincter into the small intestine and that is where digestion starts. Did you know that the largest artery in the body, the aorta, "connects straight into the small intestine and is the largest distributor of nourishment throughout the body via the pumping of the heart"? Who is the "boss" of your digestive system? How about this fascinating fact - "The human body carries about 100 trillion micro-organisms in its intestines" which is 10 times more than the number of human cells in a body!SO you keep telling yourself that you need to eat more healthily but is there truly more good food than bad out there? Yes! Do you keep slipping up? Don't stress because stress can be really harmful to your digestive system and overall health.What are bitters? (No, I am not talking about a variety of beers!) Several listed here explaining what each one is and in what circumstances not to take them. How about carminatives? Looking for a natural antacid? Two are talked about in this book. Digestive tonics all have one thing in common - FIBER! The herbs listed in this section are rich in 'mucilage' which can among other things, help with bowel regulation. Are you taking probiotics on a regular basis? They are great but how about foods that do the same job?Important to note that this book is written by a vegetarian so a little biased towards plant based foods. For example nothing is said about the good meats - grass fed etc. HOWEVER this is still a very informative and well-written book. Some of the information I knew already as we have been aiming to eat and live healthily for years but some of the information was new to me. I was asked to review this book by the author when it was being offered FREE to everyone on Amazon. Thanks, Liz

Buxman Digestive tract problems seem to be more common all the time, but information on addressing them is difficult to obtain. Other books I've read on the subject either aren't backed by logic and science, or are so lengthy and clinical that they read like a textbook. Healthy Gut Solution offers a solid explanation of causes and remedies for digestive issues in a manner that is easy to read and which doesn't waste your time. Being aware of the foods and lifestyle choices that cause problems will give you the power to overcome those problems. This short book can help you improve your life, whether you have gut problems now, or simply want to avoid them in the future.
