By readerj6 My father was lithuanian but I never knew my grandparents who emigrated from lithuania in the late 1890's- I find the history, culture and language of lithuania to be very interesting and I would love to visit some day.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. THIS IS NOT RUSSIAN LITERATURE By Bernard Terway I wish Amazon would not put this a "Russian Literature" This is Lithuanian! Lithuania has been a country for centuries, true, for a time under Russian domination, under Soviet domination, but it has a distinct life of its own, is not Russian, it has a language of its own called Lithuanian, not Russian. To classify this with Russian literature is an abomination and MUST be stopped!!!!!
