Read This if Your Serious About Becoming an English Teacher & Living in Spain By Tuan As someone who is in love with spanish culture, and in my formative years had given alot of thought into the idea of potentially getting a TESOL qualification to become an english teacher to live and travel in Spain. This is one of the most comprehensive and useful resources I've come across for specifically that purpose. It is very relevant, and up to date with whats going on at the moment with the situation over there (economy, demands, jobs etc) as of December 2015.The content is really great at encouraging those who would be interested in becoming an english teacher and move over there. Even myself of whom english teaching isn't necessarily my first preference as to how I'd like to travel and live over there right now, its got me excited, and I would imagine someone who would actually have their primary interest in becoming one, would get a great kick out of the material in this book. The book addresses and lists alot of positives, upsides and benefits, and also presents the potential challenges one may encounter as well. Liz offers a realistic glimpse, and an inside look into what its like teaching english in spain, finding work, the working conditions there among many other things. The book offers a basic general grasp on what to expect and whats involved, whats required of your on getting qualified and getting experience to be a teacher here (along with personal recommendations too if your new to this). Very practical advice given as well that can be implemented to obtain work as an english teacher in spain, finding the right school, as well as obtaining rights to live in spain.Liz is someone who has really lived this particular lifestyle for a while and have a great amount of experience and knowledge to share here relating to this area. What I like is that she doesn't leave you in the dark as far as resources and info in addition to the book, as it provides a wide range of links and websites to external material you can find to really learn and understand what it is you need before packing your bags and moving to Spain to live and teach.I personally like the informative style of writing. I read alot of travel, travel hacking, digital nomad type books, so found this particularly fun to read. After finishing this, its got me excited and motivated to make my travel goals happen so that I too can experience the spanish culture, lifestyle, food, music etc. Particularly reading about other english teachers experiences they had with the people/students, they have shared inside the book, it really makes you want to experience the culture, the warm friendly people, and the overall lifestyle even more.if I ever might happen to change my mind sometime later on down the track, and consider becoming an english teacher, it may very well be worth it, and this book is one that makes it seem a fantastic decision I could make if I chose to go down that route in the future :-)

By Sergio Felix I wanted to read this book since my wife and I are interested in moving to Spain some time soon and since she has been teaching English for about six years now this book was the perfect fit to get some advice in advance. It happens that not only my wife but both of us got a ton of ideas and tips from this book on how to get started teaching English to people in Spain, how to prepare for it, what to expect from applying to get hired and what to focus on before and after arriving to Spain. This is a quick read, highly informational and has ton of tips for anyone who is interested in teaching English abroad, thanks Liz!
