This book covers the music of rides to shows to our beloved animated features. This book covers the writers and composes who make each melody as well as the famous tunes. Also this book discuses why song are played at certain points of theme parks and movies. This book is truly one of a kind. I hope their is a second volume.

This is an in depth study of Disney music and how it works in movies, television and the theme parks. What makes music qualified to be "Disney"? You will find out within the pages of this book.There is a section on Disney composers which I found very interesting. Does anyone remember the Sherman brothers and the movie Mary Poppins? Did Walt Disney know what the country needed to see and hear at the time? Karl lists many songs and movies that lean toward that theory.Beaudry tells us Disney music is consistent, uplifting, and fun. It sings quality. Make sure to read the chapter "Magical Musical Highlights". Reminisce and enjoy!This book was won on Goodreads with the request for an honest review.
