Google is cheaper By Saya Leland First of all, if one is writing an introductory text on spell-casting, which is what I assume Dayanara Blue Star was trying to do here, a simple definition of terms is absolutely necessary. For instance, she takes for granted that her targeted audience (beginners) would have any idea what a besom is. Secondly, and I've said this before, like many pagan and/or witchcraft books, the material here has been printed and reprinted by so many people that at this point, paying even $.99 for it seems ridiculous.What seems to be happening here is that Blue Star is attempting to get her name out there (the ad for the facebook group at the end of the book proves as much). Unfortunately, she did so by presenting us with the same old boring spells, circle casting, and so on that is readily available for free on the internet. I appreciated the wording in some of her spells; I thought the spell to end depression was a unique touch in an otherwise bland "book," but it doesn't make up for the fact that this book is a dollar for 38 pages of the same-old-same-old.
