Food for the weary soul By Author Matthew Robert Payne I was fortunate to get this book for free, but I know that the purchase price of 99 cents that Adam's books would be well worth it. If you have not read it already, this book actually contains three short books. Each book builds on each other, to the point that by the end of the third book I was soaked in the presence of Jesus.So are you going through a hard time?In this book you will find:* Reasons why we suffer* The purpose of trials* How to cope while you suffer* Adam's hope for us all* and much much more!Take it from a person who has suffered in this life a whole lot, this book is good food for a weary soul. I have had a life that drew me very close to Jesus and these three books make so much sense to me.This book provides wonderful stories and illustrations , it provides great biblical foundation, and many scripture verses explained. My personal favourite were the stories that Adam shared particularly Eric's story who had an accident on a farm. I personally have loved every Adam Houge book I have read. Very motivating and teaches faith By Amazon Customer Just went through life changing circumstances. The scare of cancer but thank the Lord it was all removed during the biopsy. Still have to go for 3 month checks. But this book showed up on the Free list just when I was going through this time. Yes, It soothed my soul and make me realize that God has us go through trials, to test our faith in Him. If we lose faith he doesn't lose His interest in us. He is there waiting for us to ask for help. Great read a good description of why we go through hard times, with some short story examples.
