About the Author Donny Brusca has taught for about 25 years, mostly on the high school and college levels. He is currently employed as the Director of Student Data Management at the Williamsburg Charter High School in Brooklyn. He has a B.S. in mathematics and M.A. in computer and information science from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and a post-graduate P.D. in educational administration and supervision from St. John's University. He has performed as a disc jockey at nearly a thousand events over fifteen years as the owner of the New York mobile DJ company, Sound Sensation. Donny loves baseball and softball, and is still actively playing and umpiring. He lives in Staten Island, NY, with his wife, Camille, and three cute cats. We were very worried about the regents exam. But with this book, and hard work, I'm happy to say she did great! Her class grade also went up 28%. This is a must buy :)
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. BUYERS BEWARE! Answer Key sold SEPARATELY for $7.50 By NYC Mom This is a ripoff. The answer key is sold separately for $7.50. While this is clearly stated in the product descriptions I never noticed it because I've never had to purchase answer keys separately for any review books I've purchased for my student, which were many! Do not buy UNLESS you are ready to fork over more money for the answer key for the practice problems. To make matters worse, since I did not realize this until it's too late I only received 50% of the purchase price I paid and was charged ~$5 for return shipping even though I've been a good Amazon Prime customer.

Nazaire Algebra I Common Core Regents Course WORKBOOK,2nd edition, by Donny Brusca is a must buy for new or revising Algebra I students.Two features worth mentioning : 1) the hands-on teaching of how to use the Texas Instruments 83 graphing calculator in doing the exercises as well as checking out the solutions 2) the emphasis on learning the concepts,vocabulary as well as the notation, the mathematical models.442 pages of text including applied business and financial mathematics.I am eagerly waiting for the Algebra II text by Donny Brusca.
