- David V. Sherwood is a Certified Public Accountant and Enrolled Agent with over 35 years of professional experience. He received his BBA in Accounting from The College of William and Mary. He has provided accounting, auditing, and consulting services to private and publicly traded clients.
- Kolleen Wells is an Enrolled Agent and a Certified Bookkeeper who specializes in tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. She has worked in the accounting field for many years, including a CPA office and at the county assessor's office. Kolleen is also the Finance Officer of a non-profit corporation.
- Richard Gramkow is an Enrolled Agent with more than 17 years of experience in various areas of taxation. He holds a master's degree in taxation from Rutgers University and is currently a tax manager for a publicly held Fortune 500 company in the New York metropolitan area.
- Christy Pinheiro is an Enrolled Agent, Accredited Business Accountant, and writer. She worked as an accountant for two private CPA firms and the state of California before going into private practice.

It wasn't easy, there is a lot of material covered. I decided to try Part 2 first - get the hardest over first! I feel pretty confident now that I will pass Parts 1 & 3. I recommend this series (and the workbook), but read the suggested IRS publications too! Thank you Pass Key!

The text provides much information and many examples, and I was able to pass the exam on the first try. My only complaints would be that the index page numbers don't match up with the correct sections, as if they weren't updated since last year's edition, and there are several boxes that designate information as being critical for success on the exam, with little explanation and not enough examples for those topics. Overall, it prepared me to take the exam, and I would recommend purchasing it.

By Amazon Customer I had wasted months studying a review course from another provider for which i paid a lot more $$$, but was so confused and overwhelmed by the information, the more i studied the more it confused me. Somehow i read the reviews for this book and decided to take a chance; i studied half of it in three days and so addicted to it. Everything is presented in a very PLAIN and EASY to understand language. I completed the whole book in exactly TWO weeks. I read and re-read and then tried the workbook in the weekend and got 69% on the first exam and 78% in the second. I was done with the exam at Prometric in exactly 80 minutes the next day, Monday---passed it the first time. Don't find words to thank the authors.
