It has given me so many fresh ideas to take my drumming to a different level. It's not a book that you'll want to just open up and read cover to cover and move on, each lesson in the book is something that you can work on and develop as far as your imagination can take it. I Was blown away when I discovered Jost when I attended pasic a few years ago, he is such an amazing drummer with a jaw dropping melodic style. I was extremely excited when I heard about this book and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And now I can't put it down!! Very good buy! Highly recommend!!

Tons of tracks on the CD so you can hear what's going on. Things like the split groove and switch groove give you some great ideas on how things that you think you can already play can sound and feel like they are new. So far, I am going slow but even as far as I got, applying Jost's ideas are making a big difference.

It has opened up my mind to so many fresh ideas and has given my drumming sound so much depth. No matter if you are a beginner or have been playing for 30 years, this book will allow you to explore a whole new level of playing. I would highly recommend this book to anyone!!
