2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. in a very clear and easy to apply way By Orna Taub The book "the secret to learn Chinese" by Luca De Stefani is an extremely valuable book for everyone who wish to learn ChineseIn the most efficient way and simultaneously the most enjoyable way.The book expresses an "out of the box" thinking of how to learn Chinese and suggests ,in a very clear and easy to apply way ,the steps to learn Chinese efficiently and enjoyably..I am a live evidence and proof for the effectiveness of the book because after one year of formal studies in Chinese classes I arrived toThe Same conclusions and adopted the same methods describes in the book with great and quick results.To list one or two examples,my listening comprehension was terrible in the beginning and it was actually my best problem inChinese.After I started to use the methods written in the book I suddenly realized that I did understand quite a big deal of the listeningStuff.I cannot describe how joyful it was for me to realize that.It came to me as an unexpected present.The second example is the Chinese characters.after one year of self annoying in trying to learn the Chinese characters by a daily schedule routine.I started to realize that the more I study the more I forget.then I arrived to the same insights as the author of the book and appliedThe same methods described in the book.Not only that I didn't annoy myself anymore with trying to remember the characters,but I also enjoyed very much and had great results.I am now master a great deal of characters completely.In sum - I myself is a living proof of the efficiency of this book -and I wish I read it when I just started to learn Chinese. It has a lot of great advice that I have already used on my journey to learning Mandarin, and a lot of great advice and concepts, that I have never thought of before. I'm excited to try the new concepts because they make absolute sense, and the concepts that I have tried, that are mentioned in this book, has gotten me to a level where I'm not fluent yet, but I can understand the gist of a conversation, and make sense of some characters, where when I first started learning Mandarin, it seemed like such an insurmountable task. The approach is painless, invigorating to the imagination, and provoking to the curiosity and creativity of anyone who is passionate about learning a language. This is how most people I know, actually achieve becoming fluent in a language without taking classes.I have several foreign friends that came to America without speaking a word of English, and then 3 to 4 months later they were fluent. Total Immersion that's how they did it, and this book is great for teaching people how to immerse themselves in a language without going to a foreign country. Awesome job and awesome book.

Excellent Guide On Learning Chinese Language By Amos M This book is very inspiring,it has a clear method on how to learn the chinese language,immersion is one of the methods that has been attributed as the most simplest way to learn a new language.For sure i am currently giving it a tree by learning Germany and i see it works not only for Chinese but other languages too.
