Something we Should All Focus On More By Cortney Lewis This book has really made me realise just how little notice I take of what’s happening around me. I walk around thinking about the past and future but never really take a minute to appreciate what’s happening right now. This book has really helped me with so many different techniques to be more mindful. I have already started with the mindful breathing methods and I’m going to build up from there as the author suggests. Mindfulness of sound is another one. When you actually stop and listen to what is happening around you it is amazing. This book is well written and a great starting place for anyone wanting to start living in the now. Thank you Diane.

I liked the fact that this book showed the basic information for understanding mindfulness, how to deal with mental and physical issues and say goodbye to distraction and destructive thinking. I loved the facts that practice should be done with prioritizing mindfulness. Most helpful part was the chapter on the strategies and techniques for bringing mindfulness and creative visualization in our everyday life. This book can be a very helpful edition for those who want to remain free from frustration and be active in mind controlling using mindfulness meditation.

No worrying about anything else, but instead living in the present time. Just like any other meditation, mindfulness has also many benefits in our body. The first benefit if we master mindfulness is that it reduces stress and anxiety. It can also improve our sleep, since sometimes we find it so hard to sleep at night then practicing mindfulness will help us improve it. This Mindfulness for beginners will not only benefit those who are first timer readers, but more so those who already practicing this kind of meditation will also benefit from this. The nice thing in this book is that it is a step by step guide and procedure. Very educational read.
