About the Author Bruce Colbert is an associate professor and director of the Allied Health Care Department at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. The author of nine traditional books, he also developed an interactive worktext and DVD program on student success. Focusing on such topics as stress and time management, he has presented more than 250 regional and national lectures and workshops devoted to professional skills, enhancing critical and creative thinking as well as effective decision making. In addition Mr. Colbert consults with educational programs to improve teaching effectiveness.

Anatomy & Physiology for Health Professions: An Interactive Journey By Bobbie jo I am taking a medical billing course, and purchased this book so I can learn about the body and its functions. It is easy to understand, and has a cd that is helpful with pronouncing medial terms. Although it is not required in the course, my textbook suggests it would be helpful information which could assist with possible career advancement in a physician's office with a medical billing or coding position.
