About the Author Tony has always been interested in genealogy. However, he began his research in earnest in 1994 while he was serving his first of two tours of duty at the Pentagon. It was here in Washington D.C., where he had quick access to the National Archives, the National Genealogical Society Library, and the Daughters of the American Revolution Library, that he began to learn more about his own family history and the family history of his wife, Karen Theresa Brevelle. Tony is or has been a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, Knights of Columbus, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, National Society of Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, General Society of Colonial Wars, and Sons of the American Revolution. He has served as Chapter Secretary, Treasurer, and Registrar for the Enemund Meuillion Chapter, Louisiana Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, and Organizing President of the Natchitoches Chapter, Louisiana Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He is past President of the Louisiana Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and has served as National Trustee, Sons of the American Revolution.
