By Tootsie Reyes I love learning new languages and have downloaded several books but this book by far is the simplest book that can teach you Hebrew. It provides a comprehensive list of Hebrew words in phrases that you can use in different scenarios and it also shares the pronunciation of each Hebrew word. If you want to learn Hebrew fast, I highly recommend this book. Mamash Tov (really good) indeed!

For some reason the author has chosen to write all the phonetic samples as a single word. This means entire sentences as a single word. Why? I have no idea, but it's incredibly confusing, difficult to read, and serves absolutely no purpose other than to obscure which word is which when translating.For example: "We need a doctor!" is written phonetically as "anaaKhnootsreeKheemrofey!" in the book. Why not put spaces between the words as you would when writing in English or Hebrew? Using the author's system, this could easily be written as "AnaKhnoo tsriKhim rofey" (literally: "We need doctor").Another example: "Do you speak English?" is written as "atahmedeveranegueleyte?" ... seriously ... does that even say? In normal phonetic spelling that sentence would read "Ata medaber anglit?" MUCH more readable, and you can actually see the words broken out and begin to understand how the English and Hebrew relate to each other. (Ata = you / medaber = speak / anglit = English).Definitely wouldn't recommend. Thankfully the book was free on Kindle Unlimited.
